I love the 60's MOD fashion! First it's so English and second it's one of the most inspiring and interesting fashion styles in the 20 century. Geometric, clean and structured shapes with cutouts using vinyl fabrics, it's just out of space! Big accessories were the signature of the style together with a very unique eye makeup. Bold colors blended into geometric prints as part of the PoP Art movement sprout in the 60's. Twiggy supermodel, a symbol of 'MOD', was famous for her skinny look known as the 'Heroin chic'.
MOD is a short for modern to describe minimalism but nothing minimal was about the mod.
