Fashion Weeks - NYC

Ok. So here we are again in the seasonal tour over the fashion weeks and i will be looking on my next blog posts at the SS12 runaways.  

Most important fashion weeks are NYC, London, Paris and Milan. lots of other fashion weeks, not less exciting taking place all over the world. i will be looking at these 4 big ones. 

First to start is NY, then it will be London, after comes Paris and closing Milan.

NYC fashion week presenting designers that are more commercial where London presents the more young creative designers, Paris and Milan the haute couture fashion houses and commercial high - end fashion. 

I looked at some of the runways at NYC fashion week and here are trends that we will see next summer.

LOUIS VUITTON the "DOUBLE EXPOSER" project

The "double exposer" project is a serious of shots each time with different personas for the latest collection of the company. It is a unique project that uses one of the world oldest photography techniques from the 19th century in which the sitter must pose for 12 seconds. It produces the most authentic images combining with contemporary on-line distribution.

This time the company announced the project with the British actress  Thandie Newton shot by the  British photographer Tom Craig. 

Here is a "making of" film following by the images.

**In the film i saw the Tom Craig assistent, he holds the reflector, his name is Gus and he is part of a duo photographers Gus&Stella which i shot with an editorial that is about to be published..... :))

VOGUE UK - HOUSE OF SNOWBALL

Sometimes Styling can be build up on only one item that we find inspiring and give us an idea of a new trend or a new way to dress up. this time using the cuffes of House of Snowball made the flemish editorial perfect.

I trully liked this Editorial using collections from F/W 2012, Givenchy dress with the yellow and purpel prints at the last spread is just perfectly representing everything this winter is all about; Glamour.
