Today i saw an exhibition with Miss thingsbecomethings at the British Museum called "Afghanistan - Crossroads of the ancient world". It was my first time at the British museum and i must say it was a great architectural and cultural experience. The exhibition itself was in lighting, as my personal knowledge went far as this country is a war zone since ever. It was a kind of revelation of the story of Afghanistan’s ancient culture, which is trully rich and diverse. Through the exhibition i understood the importance of Afghanistan at anciant times as being in the middle of the Silk Road and the influences of that on her culture, but also i understood that this country is very fragile since ever and maybe today its a reflection for what precticly an anciant history.

When Art met Fashion
It's always interesting to see how art and fashion trying to make a mutual language to communicate between them. Fashion designers are constantly looking at art for inspirations checking the borders between art and fashion. The outcomes are usually amazing. pushing forward the creativity to say that there is no limitations for experiments.

Among the brands i was asked to style were LA MARTINA, PAUL AND SHARK, DOLCE & GABBANA and GUCCI. Here is my day of shooting.

Jewish Princess
On one of my "checking what's new" tours a few days ago i saw in H&M Oxford circus branch, a Jewish prayer shawl from their 2011 spring collection. Religious motifs in fashion are common, i think they are wearable mostly when they are not at their extremities or the person doesn't have any religious connection to the garment. Well for a Jewish girl like me being in the fashion industry, i am not sure if it's a chic or a shock......i will need to think about it.

Sick in London
Here is a still life shoot I did for my Styling Master course at Istituto Marangoni. It was the first time I styled still life, so it was a very challenging project. I did the shoot for a store called SICK located in brick lane, east London. they have a second hand clothes but the best part are the Boy London pieces so it was a good colleboration reprisenting for me my time in london which is something to remember in the future.
I had an amazing photographer Alena Jescanka a 3rd year student at LCF. She has a special way of shooting, a great eye and a very good sense of taste.
Loved it, hope you too
